As
many of you will know Brian Archer's replica of the Sprinzel
Coupé was based on Stephen's original car WJB 707, raced in
period by the late Ian Walker. While waiting for WJB to be
restored Stephen built this replica in order to participate in a
few classic rallies and other events. It was completed in 1995
just in time for the Tulip Rally of that year. He is now
offering the car for sale.

General |
In the last 2 years various things on the
car have been changed. The heavy clutch has been replaced with
an up-rated 1275 clutch kit and the gearbox is currently being
repaired so that various options are possible. The front
suspension has been completely renewed with new shock absorbers
and Peter May trunnions. The engine has been re-built and is now
fitted with a KM 276 camshaft for improved torque. New seats
have just been supplied and before sale both the front and rear
screens will be replaced . The side-screens have just been made and
will be fitted in the next few days.
The car is Left Hand Drive but can readily
be converted to RHD. It is currently Dutch registered but can be
supplied with UK registration if required. Being a local parts
supplier in Belgium, Stephen can also vary the car's
specification if a prospective buyer wishes it.
