OFH 175 ~ the 'Speedring'
A Speedwell GT Replica ~ almost!
Back in (?) the 1990s Speedwell enthusiasts Bill McDonnough of Hardy Engineering and David Groves were looking to build a replica of a Speedwell GT but, there being no coupé top of the Speedwell available, they used an Archers Garage Sebring top combined with a Speedwell Monza bonnet, and called it a Speedring.
Bill and Dave were subsequently able to acquire a genuine Speedwell GT so OFH was sold to Ronnie Coia who had the car for a number of years. Ronnie sadly died in 2010 and the car has sinced moved on again, this time to Mark Warne of Reading.
